The Positive Energy Home

The Positive Energy Home

Our home is our haven, our retreat. It’s where we see our mate, family, and friends, and where we spend time alone. It’s where we can let our hair down, relax, celebrate, entertain, meditate, plan, reminisce, eat, sleep, love. It is our spiritual center.  As an extension of our personal energy, it should remind us of where we want life to take us.  If you long for simplicity, then your home should reflect that. If you are on a spiritual path, then let your home set the stage. Begin by creating an enchanted environment for yourself. You want to feel calm and happy here and you’ll find that by using color in a deliberate way you’ll be making your home energetically supportive – a joyful backdrop to your life.

Home is where we can achieve the highest level of Self-Care and Cristina has an extensive Home Energy Toolbag.  She has worked in the field of energy healing for over 20 years and has done many home energy consultations based on what she has coined The Positive Energy Home. Her goal is to facilitate people to get a true fresh start and set the stage for how they want to live. There are many tools available to enhance the energy and quality of your home and she has extensive experience in this area. She offers a variety of Positive Home Energy guidance tools.

Creating a relaxed, personalized, and organized space is the key to meshing well with your customers and clients. The infusion of aromas, strategically selected color schemes, and designated room energies all work in harmony to help define your customers’ and clients’ needs and intentions. Learn how to foster peace and positivity within the space, within your mind, and most importantly, within your customer or client.

The Positive Energy Home at A Glance

  1. Conduct energy clearings through Sage and Palo Santo.

  2. Bless your apartment through candles, sound therapy, and intention.

  3. Rock salt lamps and selenite lamps will ensure positive energy flowing throughout your home. (Make sure that all of your lamps are strategically positioned.)

  4. Define the vibration your clients want to live in. Vibrations set the stage for who your clients are and where they want to go in life.

  5. Nature heals; houseplants raise the vibration of your home and can filter the air.

  6. Make sure your apartment has good feng shui (black hat style).

  7. Give each room its own energetic personality. For example, the bedroom should be a relaxation room and the living room should be reserved for socializing. Use the techniques above to create positive energy environments in each of the rooms in your home.

  8. Create a sacred space. Every home should have a space where you can connect with your source. You want to do this in one area repetitively, so that you build up a morphogenetic field. For instance, if you meditate in one area of your home regularly, each time you practice mediation, you will be able to achieve inner peace at a faster rate because of the specific energy field you’ve created in your sacred space.

  9. Personalize your home. Create your own art and/or strategically place meaningful objects where you can see them. Use these objects as a reminder of the energy you want to achieve in your life.

The Positive Energy Home – Detailed

ROOMS TO BREATHE IN

Our home is our haven, our retreat. It’s where we see our mate, family, and friends, and where we spend time alone. It’s where we can let our hair down, relax, celebrate, entertain, meditate, plan, reminisce, eat, sleep, love. It is our spiritual center.  As an extension of our personal energy, it should remind us of where we want life to take us.  If you long for simplicity, then your home should reflect that. If you are on a spiritual path, then let your home set the stage. Begin by creating an enchanted environment for yourself. You want to feel calm and happy here and you’ll find that by using color in a deliberate way you’ll be making your home energetically supportive – a joyful backdrop to your life..

To change the vibrational energy in your home, there are a few basic axioms to keep in mind.

Get rid of all clutter

It disturbs the mind on an unconscious level, lowering your tolerance for others and preventing you from radiating your inner light and joy.

Cleanse  Use a sage stick to cleanse the house regularly and bring in fresh energy.

Be thoughtful about the objects you surround yourself with. This is not a question of economics, it is a question of choosing things that are meaningful to you. If you don’t like an object in your house it has to go, no matter how much it cost or who gave it to you.

Avoid what we call  “poverty consciousness”

Hanging onto possessions because you feel that you never have enough promotes stale stagnant energy. Release and let go to allow new energy to come into your life.

Take care of your home.

When we take care of our surroundi.ngs we instantly enter a new state of awareness. Like Eastern monks tending their meditation gardns, we have a sense of satisfaction when we have undertaken and completed a project. The forward movement keeps us in the present, opening up our crown chakra.

Use color

There are not many rooms that take more than three days to paint and it is well worth it. Few symbolic fresh new starts are more powerful than changing the color of your room. We have personally found this to be the way out of many funks that can make the difference between feeling depressed and inspired. Changing the frequency of your environment changes the frequency of your situation.  Also the commitment to, for example, painting a bedroom in a shade of green to energize your heart center and work on matters of love is exactly the kind of affirmation it takes to set growth in motion.

Always check in with your intutiton.  Shut your eyes and ask yourself what color does this room need? .   As you develop your sensitivity to subtle energies and begin to trust your instincts, you will find that they will never steer you wrong.

Making Color Choices

RED needs to be used judiciously as an interior color because it energizes and activates, evoking a very powerful response. It also makes a room appear smaller.  When you want coziness and intensity, as perhaps in an entry hall or dining room, red can work well. Lush and tempting as it may be, red is a no-no for the bedroom. Red in the bathroom is also problematic: But burgundy is fine..

Because red activates our base emotions and primal instincts, it can cause us to act thoughtlessly or aggressively. So if you are living with red and find yourself prone to arguments and spats with your family or mate, change this color or use it sparing, balancing it with golden yellows or greens.

Amusement arcades and casinos deliberately use red to cater to our base instincts and promote feelings of excitement.

One red story I found especially touching is about a woman who was suffering from postpartum depression. Not feeling sexy was her biggest complaint. She told me that about three months after her daughter was born she had the urge to paint her bathroom red. I wondered if the bathroom was the only place she felt she could be alone with her husband and if she was unconsciously setting up a sex area just for them. The answer, to my surprise, was no. This was her place. She would spend hours in there rebuilding her sense of self and inner sense of sexuality. As her depression began to lift, she painted the window frames orange and yellow. She essentially had created a space where she could rebuild herself from the base chakra up. It was fascinating.

ORANGE, which also connotes strong feelings, has some of the same limitations as red for interiors.  It stimulates appetite and is commonly used in fast food restaurants as is yellow.  For the home, it needs to be used sparingly.  For example, in our first apartment,Tony and I had an old, unfashionable couch that looked terrible.  We bought an orange sheet to cover it hoping to lift our spirits. It seemed all right at first until one day I was overcome with the urge to get rid of it immediately; I was having a fit. Tony admitted that he’d been feeling antsy, too, so in no time, the orange sheet became curtains. The smaller amount of orange worked well on the windows  creating a subtle glow in the morning light that encouraged activity.  As for the couch, we covered it with a pale blue throw and were much happier—and calmer. All mistakes are just experiences that help to teach us what is good or bad for us personally, it’s all subjective, and it’s all trial and error.

YELLOW is good for a room where you read and/or work.  It’s bright and uplifitng plus it stimulates the intellect and aids in strengthening your inner power and self esteem.

GREEN and BLUE are great for promoting relaxation and sound sleep and so naturally they are the colors we encourage for bedrooms. One friend of ours was suffering from insomnia.  For months, she experienced a powerful urge to paint her bedroom deep green, an impulse that surprised her because dark green had never been one of her favorite colors.  In the end, she decided to try it and she hasn’t had a night of insomnia since. Restful green was just what the doctor ordered.

Another friend, having recently suffered the loss of her father, felt compelled to paint her bedroom blue. What she didn’t realize at the time is that blue eases loneliness. She was listening to her body’s needs and benefiting from soothing blue energy to relieve her grief.

VIOLET is a receding color, and makes a room appear larger.  Violet makes for a contemplative living space, ideal for bathrooms and dreamy bedrooms. We painted our bedroom area violet not only because it was very small but also because violet helps stimulate dreams and spirituality. I experienced an increase in lucid dreams and from these dreams got inspiration for some of our more unique nail colors. I would suggest painting a room violet when you are going through dramatic emotional periods of your life. It will help your connection with the universe and inspire you to listen to your body and what it needs.

WHITE. Since white carries an otherworldly quality, it needs to be balanced with pictures, plants, crystals and mirrors.  White is a good choice when you want to make a room appear lighter and/or bigger as are all pastel colors.

The Color Correct Home

This blueprint for a vibrationally correct home will provide you with a starting point from which you may apply color in your own way.  Check out your intuitive feelings against our color guidelines for specific rooms. But as a general guidline have lots of plants and flowers, lifeforce brings good energy. Keep your home free from clutter and filled with things you love.

 The Entrance

First impressions are big impressions so the color that first welcomes people into your home is important. Red can indicate excitement and  promise liveliness within. Blue may reflect a family with strong independent opinions. Green and pink announce warmth, perhaps a home where harmony and loving feelings are paramount. Yellow indicates a family where ideas and the intellect are valued.   Hanging photographs of family and friends in the entrance is a welcoming touch and can also remind you of the love in your life when you come home after a long day.

The Living Room

When you think about it, the words “living room” make a big statement since where and how we live affect our energy system and our overall happiness. Unfortunately all too many living rooms aren’t lived in at all – they’re off limits to the family. We disapprove and believe the living room should always have a welcoming, lived in air and evoke a feeling of happiness and joy.

Warm colors are good choices for this room.  Deep colors might make the room look smaller but they can have therapeutic effects as well. A deep burgundy might give a safe feel, a sexy feel. A burnt orange will promote sociability and sensuality and help bring conversations to an intuitive level. But in general, you’ll want to go with calming colors for your dominant color.  A blue will stimulate conversation and calm the nerves. Green and blue is a good combination because it promotes loving communication and relaxation. You can use bright and stimulating colors in splashes, accessorizing with  paintings, flowers, pillows, vases and  throws.

Keep a strong and loving life force flowing in your home and especially in the living room.. Plants are great for energy and aesthetics. Crystals can purify and stimulate conversation. Your own artwork on the walls can be a source of inspiration and conversation. Photographs of you in a special moment will remind you that you are loved and have achieved. Your living room should reflect your life.

The Dining Room

Since eating is a time for connecting with friends and family, effective honest conversation can be stimulated with blues, violet, or a muted orange, one mixed with a blue or green. Reds and oranges will encourage a more romantic fiery mood. Eating can be a sensual time so deep burgundies, deep violets and greens or a burnt orange would work as well. It’s interesting that the bright oranges used in fast food chains promote sociability but don’t say relax and stay a while, whereas a darker, more muted orange does. The same is true for yellow. Whatever color you choose, colored votives can really lend the room a magical light.

The Kitchen

For many people, the kitchen is  the most important room in the house —  half the TV sitcoms take place in the kitchen. It’s where we meet and talk with our family and with friends, too. Maybe our social awkwardness prompts us to need a reason to be hanging out together and in the kitchen we have the reason, helping the cook. Cooking is so crucial to our energy system, not just in terms of what we are eating but in how we prepare the food. The energy that we put into food we cook is the energy we will be eating and sharing, so we want it to be positive. Color can aid in this process but there is no substitute for positive thought.

Keeping positive energy in mind, you’ll want to use colors that are warm and  friendly. As basic general rules we’d stay away from bright or dark oranges, blue, red and unbelievably enough yellow. So many of us grew up with yellow kitchens!. Peach, apricot, coral and the like are good to use, as are other colors that are subtle.  Strong bright colors can be intrusive and can stimulate strong emotion that may encourage negative interaction, rushed conversation, a lack of thoughtfulness and a lack of harmony.

I personally didn’t want to paint my kitchen so I’ve covered the walls with photographs of friends and other images that make me happy. I think a happy kitchen can help emotional eaters resist attempting to fill that hole they feel in their belly with food rather than with the love they are really craving.

The Bedroom

This room is our sanctuary, our safe place from the world where we can let go, visualize positive realities for ourselves, make love and of course sleep. Regardless of which of these activities is most important to you, we’ll say this, do not paint your bedroom completely red! We know a woman who did this because she loves the color so much and wanted to stimulate her lovemaking. Of course she’s an insomniac.  For sexual energy, she could splash the room with red through trim or accessories but stick with blues and greens for getting a good night’s sleep.

You don’t want anything too powerful in the bedroom. In general we need to recharge our batteries here, refuel and balance our energy system. So the atmosphere should be balanced and calm. When we sleep our deep breathing puts us in a mind state that is open to suggestion.  We become more receptive than we are in our nonsleeping state and can absorb the positive frequencies of colors more easily. Again, the light blues and greens seem to be the best choice but anything is ok as long as it’s soft.  Add uplifting and nurturing energy with splashes of color.

We also want to mention aroma for the bedroom. Buy a diffuser to burn real essential oils or buy aromatherapy candles that have real essential oils in them. These scents affect us just as color does. Lavender is a general overall great choice to balance and relax. Bergamot is one of my favorites and the combination of both is great. I always have scents around; it really positively affects my system. Go to a department store or health food store and treat yourself to candles and oils. (But remember, only real essential oils are therapeutic.)

The babies room

Here you want to be very careful. You want to encourage response but you also don’t want to overstimulate. Studies conducted at Harvard have shown that black and white patterns stimulate mental processes and increase intelligence during the first few months of life; thus the black and white mobiles available for newborns.  By about three months, babies respond to bright colors.  Birren says yellow is usually the most enticing followed by white, pink and red.  .But until the baby is eighteen months old, use these colors sparingly and stick to calming, nurturing pale pastels for the walls.

In general blue is a very healing color for infants and children.  Pale blue, as the predominant color is best; its vibrations will subconsciously act on the infant helping to communicate needs. Use splashes of pale green and pink to promote unconditional love from the very beginning. Please don’t color discriminate by gender! We all need a balance of colors that include assertiveness and nurturing. So don’t deprive a boy of pink and green or a girl of blue. We need to start taking responsibility for eliminating gender specific stereotypes. They have no place in the new world.

Children’s Bedrooms

If you have a say in the matter, I’m sure you’d want to promote balance, self-confidence and the intellect but you may find the little person has ideas of his or her own. Just remember kids have a great innate instinct that guides them and we must respect that and allow the many inevitable phases to play out. But if you are allowed to contribute your two cents worth, just give them some of the information you’ve learned here and let them decide. You might actually go over the different color effects together and decide which colors would enhance your mutual goals and desires.

The Bathroom

This is the one place in the house where we are never disturbed and because of our immunity to interruption, we can relax.  Even though blue is a relaxing color, too dark a blue can promote depression.so be careful about that. Light colors in the coral family are good. Place a plant or crystal in this room to counteract the draining of energy that happens when the water goes down the drain or is being flushed. No matter how small your bathroom may be, there is always ceiling room for a small green plant.

 The Study

Whether your study is a room unto itself or a corner, you want to create a stimulating and relaxing environment. Yellow is good as a dominant color, blue is good for communication andcalm, splashes of white and blue will keep work flowing and avoid its becoming stale. Flowers and plants are helpful; you need life force around you for positive stimulati.  Have books around that you’ve enjoyed and if you’re brave enough, put up painting or drawing of your own to remind you of your creative energy.

 The Office

Color can be used in office spaces to increase productivity and focus. In work environments, warm blues can create an overly relaxed atmosphere that is not conducive to productivity and efficiency.  On the other hand, certain strong, dark colors create chaos and distraction.  Cool blues, greens and turquoise  are good for office spaces; they don’t get in the way and they create an atmosphere of relaxed purpose.

Private Space or Altar

In ancient times there were many good luck symbols to bless a household and color was significant in each. In Ireland, Syria, India, Mexico and Constantinople the symbol of the red hand was used on a wall or door to shield the occupants from harm. In Jerusalem a blue hand was used for the same reason. I feel every alter should represent what connects you to your source energy and this can be anything…my home alter is very diverse.

Having a place you constantly return to for a specific reason creates a particular energy in that area. That’s why creating an altar and or a meditation area is so powerful. You don’t have to have a separate room for this purpose.  Your special place can be any part of a room. Perhaps it is simply a chest covered in purple silk in the corner of your bedroom.  Mine is.

Your altar is where you place things that remind you of your selflove and inner empowerment. It can be anything from a stone taken from a place where you had a spiritual experience to a picture to a crystal — whatever. My altar has objects I consider magical that have positive emotional memories for me of moments when I felt connected to myself and the universe.

It is said that wearing the same garment when spending time in your altar space adds to the spiritual energy of this area.  When this is done repeatedly, just putting the garment on or sitting in your place will ignite a specific spiritual state of mind and centeredness. I often put on my blue silk Tibetan dress before I meditate.  Violet is also a good color to wear. Whatever represents your personal spirituality is good. White will help you adapt to whatever it is you are trying to accomplish.  Whether it be finding your inner beauty and power, alleviating stress, resolving a problem or just connecting with a higher positive force, it is important to be open to whatever it is your instincts guide you to do. Whenever I sit in my small place (I try for a minimum of three days a week) I feel the power and it fills me with joy.

If You Don’t Want to Paint

If you want to change the color energy in a room but find the idea of painting your walls too daunting, there are many other possibilities:

      –     Just paint your door or window frames

  • Solarize the room with solarized water or transparent silk curtains.
  • Wear color energy
  • Do color visualization
  • Do color meditation
  • Take a color energy shower
  • Place flowers in the room
  • Use colored sheets
  • Sleep with colored crystals

I’ve tried the curtains and found it a perfect alternative. Decide on the color you need and buy silk fabric making sure it’s opaque enough to block the view from outside and transparent enough to allow sunlight to penetrate.  You want to create a glow. Let’s say you’ve decided on green fabric.  During the day the sunlight will light the room with a green luminescence at the same time giving it green color energy.  At night the color will be opaque but you’ll still have the green vibrations  stored from the frequency of green light filling the room all day long..

Natural Beauty

From a general human being perspective it is a gift to be able to see the beauty in everything – and there is beauty in everything. Even in pain and destruction comes growth and rebirth and to me that is beautiful. Beauty associated with people is tricky because in today’s world we sometimes have other people dictating a very narrow idea of what beauty is but this is changing. We now recognize being different is beautiful!  We’re all unique and that in itself is beautiful and since the dawn of time beauty has been defined by the people who love them; as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people have a certain something, a “je ne sais quoi.” That “something” is inner beauty. The reality is inner beauty is a very true and tangible quality. I spent ten years in the field of beauty during my Tony&Tina 1.0 years and I have seen first-hand how inner beauty creates aesthetic beauty. A part of the beauty biz is to have lots of events and Tony and I traveled around the world…event after event giving us the opportunity to connect with so many different kinds of people. No matter where we were one truth stood out clearly…The people who felt good about themselves looked great! I’ve seen stereotypical “beauties” look not so great and stereotypical “plain Jane’s” look stunning and it had nothing to do with the make-up or fashion. It is our inner radiance that exudes beauty.

Looking beautiful is all about how you carry yourself and what kind of energy you are generating. It goes without saying that you have to take care of yourself, physically, emotionally, spiritually. It’s really not that hard. It can be as simple as making sure you wash your face and moisturize every morning and night. You can’t get lazy at night because then the day’s dirt and grime just sits there and your complexion will suffer. No matter what skin challenges you have you deserve more than a dull complexion. It’s also about your energy. If you are energetically clear and balanced and live in love and joy you will look it and that’s beautiful. Don’t just try to look beautiful…be beautiful…to yourself and to everyone in your life.

All that said their are some natural remedies to keep us looking healthy and youthful and that’s always nice self-care. There are some good tools in this post but also check out the Radiant Beauty Visualization , A Night Of Beauty and the Healing Bath.

You will find in this post beauty tips, energy remedies, energy facial, facial exercises and food and spices that promote healthy radiant skin.

General Make-up Tips

My number one rules are…Less is always more… Blend, Blend, Blend…Glitter is pretty much appropriate anywhere, anytime, any age!

If you are wearing dark lipstick go light on the eyes

If you are wearing heavy eye make-up go light on the lips…a natural / sheer rose or plum is usually great for everyone.

Use any color you like on your lids but just a hint of it; a smear / dusting. Any Tony&Tina make-up fans…if you have any of our Universal Color Dust it is perfect for the effect!

Apply your shadow normally but then gently use your fingertip, or a make-up brush but I’ve always liked using my finger to smudge my eye shadow or eyeliner. It’s best to smudge it from the inside out and just make sure you wipe away any obvious streaks. I sometimes leave a little of it on so it looks like a very faint “shadow” upward and away from the eye.

Make-up is meant to accentuate your beauty not cover it up…and usually wearing tons of make-up can actually make you look older…

My usual routine is:

  • A very light / sheer foundation, if any. Luminizing is extra nice.
  •
  • A lip and cheek tint. I use a sheer color and always have it with me for a quick touch-up.
  • I still use the Tony&Tina Herbal Glitter Pencil (I might have some back in stock by November 2019). I never leave home without it.

Energy Facial:

    • Activates and increases your life-force
    • Increases circulation
    • Decreases stress
    • Figure-8 the energy onto any part of your body that needs balance and healing.

This video I have showing this is a very rough sloppy video but the information is there. I will be redoing this video shortly, ha I think I’ve been saying that for a year, all in good time. But it’s simple, increases your sense of radiance, creates a youthful healthy glow to your skin and activates your life-force.

How too:
There is an important energy point on your back – right behind the bellybutton. If you put one finger on your bellybutton and the other where that would be on your back – that is what is called the Ming Men point. Some say it’s an inch or two lower than your navel – I have found a few debates online but if you just massage that entire area you can’t go wrong! Everyone agrees that it’s considered a powerful life-force center in Chinese and Energy Medicine.

– On your back Ming Men point, it’s on your spine, use your fingers to firmly massage it, this awakens the radiant healing energy. Take turns doing this for a few seconds with both hands. I do it twice usually.
– With the palms of your hands you then drag this energy around to the front of your body and touching your body, in a continuous motion, bring your hands up to your face as if you are splashing water onto your face gently and slowly – you can make a circle with your hands and / or let them rest on your face allowing that healing energy to soak in. This brings a new and deeper energy to your face this usually gives you a beautiful radiant youthful glow inside and out. I love it!!!

Facial Detox:

      • Releases toxins / Lymphatic Drainage
      • Increases circulation
      • Decreases fine lines
      • Figure-8 eye massage you will program your energy to crossover, which has numerous benefits.

The following all great self-care tools.

Getting Rid of Toxins
You retain a lot of toxins in the skin cells of your face, so it’s a good idea to massage your face every day, which accelerates circulation and gives a radiant youthful appearance. It can help reverse signs of aging as well as being a powerful preventive care technique.

With the tips of your fingers, massage in a circular motion, concentrating on your chin, cheeks, temple, eye sockets and forehead. Where it hurts is where the toxins are being stored, so really work on those areas. This kind of lymphatic drainage, or clearing as I like to say, is very effective! Remember that when you release toxins you have to wash them away, so follow up by drinking plenty of water. Do this for a few minutes twice a day, this can be extra benifical when using our Rose Hip Seed Oil. Doing this before you wash your face and apply your moisturizer is a great routine to get into.

Another version is to vigorous give yourself a facial massage will release toxins and Using the back of your hand (this has less of a dragging effect) rub vigorously back and forth all over your face with special attention to the forehead and around the noise, chin and mouth area.

Around the eye area is especially important and this Eden Energy Medicine so here is an easy, simple an effective technique. With your fingers massage or firmly press down around the entire occipital lobe (NOT in your eye or on the inner soft area) – do it on the bone around your eyes. An important variation of this is to massage the eyes with a figure-8 motion. For example start pressing into the upper right eye and massage down to the bottom left eye. Continue massaging around the left eye until you land on the upper left eye and now you crossover to the bottom right eye, massaging / pressing down in a circle up to where you started – the upper right eye. Do this at least three times with a continuous flow – doing this while lying in bed is a relaxing self-care ritual. This has benefits beyond releasing toxins – it will ensure your energy is crossing over which important for our overall health, motivation and happiness.

One important note: Use this deep self-massaging tool all around your chest area, we have many important lymphatic points there that can store toxins if we do not release them and since the lyphatic system does not have it’s own pump / manor of circulation we have to do it for our bodies. So let me say strongly to woman what my teacher Donna Eden preaches…“NO WIRE BRAS!!!!!!!” They can trap toxins in the breast area and that can be physically harmful to us. Also keep in mind that our Spleen Meridian runs right through the sides of your chest…we do not want anything to hinder the spleen meridian as it is responsible for so much of our well-being.

For sexier bras I just cut the wire out but for everyday use I wear Coobie Bras and they are beyond comfortable and fit all sizes and have great colors. I bought the rainbow so that I have colortherapy options for everyday, no matter what I wear on top of it.

Other Great Self-Care Healthy Skin Tools:

The Natural Face-Lift

      • Facing a mirror, open your mouth and, while tightening your cheek muscles, move your mouth as far as you can to the right and then the left. Then, puff up your cheeks with your mouth closed, sort of as if you were blowing something up. Repeat at least two times, twice a day.

Chin Tuck
Holding your head and neck up, slowly pull your chin and head back and then forward as far as you can. Repeat several times. Then, with your shoulders back and head held high, use the back of your hand to tap under your chin. Repeat several times.

Chin Definition
Lift your chin, stick out your tongue and try to touch your nose. Repeat several times.

Sinus Drainage
Using the tips of your middle and index fingers, apply pressure first on the inside of your brow bones and then underneath your cheekbones. When you begin, feel around until you experience sensitivity to the pressure. Push in and up for thirty seconds. Repeat at your brow bones.

Relaxing The Face and Neck
Let’s face it, sometimes we all work and worry too much. When you experience a day fraught with pressure and anxiety, try the following relaxation technique. Crunch up your face as tightly as you can while squeezing your shoulders up and in. Hold for four counts and release. Repeat three times. Then, pretend your face, neck and body are like a rag dolls and shake everything loose. Don’t forget about your hands and feet. Afterwards, do some light stretching…forward and backward and side-to-side.

Other Thoughts On Beauty

Make-up
Less is more, blend, blend, blend… I hope to bring our therapudic cosmetics back at some point but until then there are some good brands that do care about the health of your skin. Seek them out. Credo Beauty has a great selection. Basically, the fewer chemicals the better.

Sleeping
Getting enough sleep is crucial…it’s true, we all need out beauty sleep! Your body and mind need to rest and recuperate at the end of the day, and not getting enough sleep makes you irritable and look bad, and it actually ages you! Getting 8 to 9 hours of sleep is a great anti-aging treatment and a way to achieve energetic wellness.

Tips For Healthy Youthful Skin
These are pretty much common sense:
– Get eight hours of sleep as often as you can.
– Drink at least 4 to 6 glasses of water a day.
Exercise. And, be active in general.
– Be a vegetarian, or least a respectful eater. Eat Consciously!
– Eat mostly whole, organic foods. Stay away from all processed foods and NO GMO.
Keep your GUT healthy. Gut health has gotten much attention recently and rightly so as it affects us physically and emotionally. An easy gut maintence meal is having some Kefir in the morning and throw in tons of nutrients. I grind up flax, chia, hemp, quinoa, sprouted millet and groats, and also add in some matcha and papaya enzymes and I can feel the gratitude from my body every time I have it. Feels amazing!
Do not smoke and limit alcohol intake.
– Give yourself a facial steam every week!
– Give yourself cleansing masks on a regular basis and always wash and moisturize your face – morning and night.
– Be aware of your facial expressions. If you find you’re tensing your facial muscles, affirm to yourself that your face is relaxed and soft.
– Give yourself facial massages on a regular basis. Moving out the toxins on a regular basis creates a noticeable difference. Ever notice how amazing your skin looks and feels after facial? Well, it’s partly because you’re massaging your face for an extended period of time, or shorter versions throughout the day.
Be happy. Studies show happy people look and feel younger, helping them to be healthier as they age.
Breathe in pink. Visualize pink energy with every inhale. It gives a youthful glow to you and your skin.
Fall in love. Even if you are already in a relationship, fall in love with that person all over again. Or, fall in love with a garden, a painting, a song; best thing ever is to fall in love with yourself.  Love everything and it will show beautifully.

More of this information to come in a longer post but here’s a quickie list for you.

Making Vibrational Remedies & Testimonials

Behind The Scenes: Vibrational Remedies

As a healer and artist creating healing formulations is sacred, magical, radiant and joyful work. I want to empower every person to lovingly change the vibration of our planet – one person, and product, at a time. There is an energy transformation happening on our planet right now and we all need support in different ways. Knowing this is one of the reasons I began creating oil blends that will support people through this global shift, and through everyday life.

The creation of these products is approached multi-dimensionally – to honor all the many levels, aspects and needs of who you are. They support the interconnectedness that exists between all things – we are all one! When I am making products I have music on, all my energy tools, crystals and plants around me and my heart, and energy, is connected to Aluna (Mother Earth, Ocean Mama, Father Universe). Being in service to others and our world is important, it’s apart of the process. My intent is for these products to help you have a healthier and happier life…I want to connect you with the beauty within and around you, for you to feel and see your radiance. I probably use way too much of my own products but why not I say:)! They have become a trusted support system for me. They help my skin stay youthful and healthy and keep my energy systems harmoniously radiant. They keep me connected with Aluna, which keeps me balanced and happy in everyway.

Tony&Tina products are formulated to support, nourish and protect your entire energy system as well as your body from head to toe. Our products are infused with Energy Medicine, Reiki, Sound Therapy, the Radiance of Aluna and Positive Intentions to increase their intended effect. I take this part of products creation very seriously, it’s not an afterthought – it’s a key ingredient!

I keep in mind plant consciousness – many are now acknowledging the sentience of plants, some goverments like Ecuador and New Zealand have given nature rights as a sentient being and the indigenous tribes have been put in charge of their land. Learn more about Plant Conciousness and it’s intelligent network. With this in mind I make sure to give great honor, gratitude and love to every ingredient. Every part of each products creation is treated as a sacred act.

I use Crystals in almost all our products and it is important to mention I do so as ethically as I can. They are a healing life-force given to us from Mother Earth. They generate different frequencies that can then be programed to support our energy in many different ways. Through mindful intention the crystals I use benefit the products and the wearer. I use crystals, and all our ingredients, with honor and respect to earth, this is an important part of the creation process.

My intention is also to present you with lifestyle support to help you feel healthy, happy, loved and connected with nature. All of our products have the intent to support you through all your life shifts. Each product is linked to a Complementary Self-Care Exercise that can be easily incorporated into your daily routine with benefits you can feel.

This is all apart of a Mindful Self-Care Lifestyle. Self-care is a powerful tool empowering your inner healer to awaken. This gives you the power to shift your energy towards complete health, love and joy. With all my heart I hope to bring more health and happiness into your life – the positive global shift starts with us! We are all beings of love and light and everything is possible. There is a great awakening on our planet right now and everything we create is intended to support you during this time of transformation.

Summer Skincare

All seasons have there own unique skin hazards but in the summer the very first concern is sun protection. The simple answer is to wear sunscreen and stay in the shade. Personally I do not like all the harmful chemicals in sunscreen and only use it when I will be out all day in the sun. If I’m just running around town I choose natural sunscreens such as the 100% Pure Everywhere Sunstick – but learn about more great sunscreens because there are other alternative brands out there as well. The EWG website is one of my go-to guides for many things and they have very helpful tips about sun protection.

Protect your eyes too! Wear sunglasses with UV protection.

Your diet and the health of your skin are intrinsically linked. You want to approach your summer skincare internally as well as externally:

Great internal antioxidants are:
• Vitamin C (found in plants and fruits).
• Vitamin E, specifically high-potency tocotrienols (HPE; good sources are rice bran oil and palm fruit oil).
• Coenzymes Q-10 (found naturally in our cells but decreasing after age 20) so take the supplement.
• Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA; found in plant and animal sources – but know the source of your meat, see below!).
• Dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE; found in fish but wild only, no farm raised!).
• Carotenoids (phytonutrients found in the red, yellow and orange flesh of plant leaves, flowers and fruit).
• Flavonoid’s (found in green tea, soy isoflavones (but only soybeans, tofu and tempeh – no fake processed meat) Red wine in moderation.
• Try eating only organic, washed fruits (especially berries!) and vegetables.
• Drink lots of filtered water – I have found Zero Water to be a miraculous product!!!! It has the test stick that tells you the % of pollutants in your water and when I first got it I tested my tap water and practically every water sold on the market – the results were shocking! Basically almost all bottled water contains more pollutants than you want – some are better than others but I encourage you to invest in this as it really is investing in your health!

Avoid inflammatory foods!
Alcohol, caffeine, sugar, artificial sweeteners, food additives, trans fats, MSG, gluten and simple carbohydrates (anything white) can exasperate acne, rosacea and inflammation. Avoid factory-farmed meats and dairy at all costs (besides the ethical reasons, the health and environmental reasons are numerous) – choose organic, free-range and grass fed meats and dairy. Consider a vegan, vegetarian or pescetarian lifestyle but if that is too difficult for you be very mindful of where your food comes from – know the source of your food!
These foods above are highly inflammatory to many people. What can you eat? I found Dr. Weil’s anti-inflammatory food pyramid interesting.

Stress damages your skin!
Take a look at any emotions you may be hiding and at your emotional tendencies in general. If you think you may be harboring some unexpressed emotions, find a safe place to free them such as using some Eden Energy Medicine techniques like the Blow Out or try sitting up against a tree and affirm that you are releasing all excess and negative emotions and the tree happily absorbs what you release. Journaling is also a great way to pour out your emotions. Negativity has a way of manifesting in the skin. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a wonderful method of releasing pent-up feelings of anger, anxiety, and fear. Meditation, deep breathing and mindfulness exercises are also healthy stress-relieving practices such as yoga.

Summer is also the perfect time to slow down! Take a vacation or just soak up the relaxed energy that naturally comes with summer and allow yourself to sleep more.

Skincare
Staying moisturized is the name of the game!!!!
We do not use any SPF in our products as they are 100% natural and organic but feel free to mix them in with your SPF products. But at the end of the day after showering slather on our Rosehip Seed oil and any of our therapeutic oil blends. You will be feeding your skin healthy skin food and the aromatherapy will soothe and relax you – and you will smell great!

Don’t forget about your hair! It is helpful in any season to do a deep moisturizing hair mask once a week. You can use straight olive oil and douse your hair with it and let it soak in for as long as you can – this is inexpensive and effective! Our Coconut Bliss is fantastic for damaged and frizzy hair. For a deep condition use it liberally and leave it in all day or night. For simple daily uses use less of it – a little goes a long way!

Healthy Aura Body Spray in rose is a great way to enhance and protect your auric field – our two-way filter to the world. But, it also has great skincare benefits such as acting as an antibacterial so it helps acne-prone skin. It’s an anti-inflammatory and naturally can help reduce redness on your skin as well as helping conditions such as rosacea and eczema. It has high amounts of vitamin C, which is a great antioxidant, and this vitamin also helps protect skin cells from being damaged from the sun. It’s moisturizing and tones your skin at the same time – spray directly onto your face, anytime, anywhere.

If you burn
Immediately put on pure aloe and/or our Rosehip Seed Oil. You may also want to put a cold compress on the burnt areas to calm and soothe the inflammation and discomfort.

If you use self tanners
First beware of looking like an orange☺ and make sure you apply it evenly – getting this done professionally is probably the best idea. But again lots of mainstream products have harmful chemicals you don’t want so try organic tanners Or make it yourself

If you stay out of the sun completely
You will still want that summer glow! This is where diet comes in again – eat lots of leafy greens, sweet potatoes and get lots of vitamin A and C.

Exercise!
There is no excuse to not exercise outdoors in the beauty of summer – and you have so many more options. It’s great to get involved in outdoor activities so it doesn’t really feel like you are exercising because you are having so much fun! If you live in an area going through a heat wave get out early or plan B is always the gym.

Last but not least – HAVE FUN!!!!!
Get out and play with your friends and loved ones. Laugh as much as you can and smile at strangers. Kiss everyone you love, hold a friends hand as you walk together and be that person who hugs everyone hello and goodbye. Get out of your comfort zone and be silly, sing and dance like nobody is watching ☺
Joy creates a natural healthy radiant glow in our skin – a happy you is a glowing you!

Night of Beauty & Relaxation

It’s important to set aside a night of beauty each week. Let this be your time to nourish and pamper yourself, you absolutely deserve that. Take at least one or two hours to cleanse, steam, deep clean, replenish and moisturize yourself from head to toe. Set the intention this will be a relaxing night of releasing all negativity and blocks that get in the way of your most radiant self. Dream about the ideal you. Create a new reality, Law of Attraction. It’s good for your body, soul and mind.

One basic: Please, please everyone wash your face morning and night no matter how tired you are. It really makes a significant difference in how you look and age; and in how you feel. You can affirm you are washing away your worries, or hurt, or angry, or whatever you want to wash out of your energy field. It’s a great opportunity you get twice a day to make a positive affirmation!

Environment is everything!
Set the stage for your night! Make sure you have some great lighting, meaning dim lights and candles. Relaxation CDs, and of course some healthy snacks and lemon water…

Steam
This is pure luxury, seriously! Our Facial Steam is pretty heavenly if I do say so myself. If you don’t have the right herbs or oils it’s fine; you can buy herbs that are specifically meant for steaming at your local health food store. Just boil some water and pour it into a large bowl and let it simmer down. (Please use common sense, don’t scald your face.) With a large towel, cover your head as you hold your head over the bowl, about 6 to 8 inches above the steaming water. Steam your face for about 10 minutes. It will really open the pores and brighten your complexion. Breath deeply if you can. I like to intend I am breathing in earth’s purity and breathing out toxins, physical and emotional.

Cleanse
Immediately after steaming, while your pores are still open, apply a mud or clay mask (a mixture of both is best) to your entire face and neck. Make sure the mask is as pure as possible, meaning you don’t need fancy fragrances in it. I’m playing with a new T&T formulation now and will keep you updated on that. Until then, Ahave Dead Sea Mask is a good one and you can probably find an all-natural mud mask at your local health food store. Follow the instructions. But in case they don’t mention it – don’t let it completely dry, meaning look crackly on your face, that can really dry you out. One more insiders tip: Using a wet washcloth scrub the mud off in circular motions to exfoliate and wash away the toxins that the mask brought to the surface. Scrub with gentle to medium pressure – never hard! And, of course be mindful of your eyes, you don’t want to get any in there so I always wash the area off first.

Moisturize
Apply a moisturizing mask (again, your local health food store should have one) and I’m playing with a few formulations but they will be bespoke only probably. You can make your own! Readers Digest has some easy suggestions as does Livestrong.

Bath time!
I take bathing very seriously so this will be the longest section, ha ☺ First of all fill the tub to the top, you want to be submerged up to your shoulders. We have an amazing formulation but have hit some hiccups that we are working out but until then it’s easy to do it yourself! Our bathing formulation is stress relieving, toxin-extracting blend of Epson Salt, Himalayan salt crystals, and Baking Soda. Epsom Salt to release energy blockages, extract toxins and ease any sore tired muscles. It also helps rid your body of radiation, great to use after a plane ride. Himalayan Rock Salt to energetically ground you and to soften the skin. Finally baking soda to extract toxins and cleanse and strengthen your auric field. This is a very healing combination – A Healing Trifecta.

Add some aromatherapy
Try our single note oils, chakra oils, or whatever else you like or have on hand, but try and make it as pure as possible. Smell is the most powerful sense we have and therefore truly shifts our mood / energy.

Add some audio therapy to create a calm & mood
Have music on as the backdrop to your beautiful dreams and harmonious environment. We have some nice CD’s and this article on sound therapy is very interesting.

Add some colortherapy
Bed, Bath and Beyond sell these amazing inexpensive under water lights, AquaLuxe, that change through the spectrum of the rainbow gently feeding your body some color energy and also creates a soothing ethereal atmosphere if you turn all other lights out. I also have one in my bedroom too and it’s very relaxing to lie in bed watching the colors transform, a nice way to gently fall into a happy dreamland.

Have a great daydream
See yourself happy, beautiful and loved. Imagine your in your ideal situation…really get into it, to the point where you know what you are wearing ☺ What we think we create, law of attraction, so be in vibration with positively wonderful fantastic beautiful things.

Self-Care time
While bathing it is the perfect time to do some self-care. I always hold my neurovasculars (holding head gently) and do lots of deep breathing.

Get your sleep!
Get into bed early and get good night’s sleep. Maybe do a meditation or visualization for radiant beauty before bedtime. Remember that whatever you go to sleep thinking about is what you will energetically keep with you all night, so even if it was a bad day, or night, think positive thoughts before bed; visualize yourself or your situation, as you want it, not what it necessarily is. Really see it, believe it and totally get into the positive thoughts / stories you create.
If you don’t believe me believe about the benefits of sleep believe Harvard and this one from WebMD

For people who think pampering only isn’t enough (Whaaaaat?) Here are some Night of Beauty Add-On’s

1. Meditation can and will change your life, if you so choose ☺
This can take only three minutes if you want it too. Any amount of time given to mindful breathing creates relaxation and many other benefits.

2. A few yoga moves never hurt anyone
Just enough to release and expand your energy, not to have a workout! Here is a nice bedtime yoga video.

3. Stretching – release some energy & create some space
Here are some gentle ones from our sister site, Cristina’s Energy Center – and this stretching video is so calming and gentle – very basic & only upper body but still – all openings are great openings!

Enjoy Your Night!!!!!

Winter Health and Beauty Tips

Stay hydrated!
But here are some tips
♥ Drink lots of water. There are so many ways to make water exciting and even healthier by adding fruit. I make an herbal fruit tea out of 5 kinds of tea – famously known as Tina’s Tea. You can also keep it simple – hot or cold water with lemon is a trusted favorite. I have to share I have purchased a Zero Water Filter and am very impressed with it. Most of our water is unfortunately not as clean as we would expect so I highly recommend this.
♥ Keep a humidifier in your bedroom and at work keep a mini one near your desk.
♥ Use a water based facial spray – our healthy aura sprays can be used in this way, especially the Rose. This is specifically important in highly heated rooms or in an airplane.

stay moisturized!
♥ Our skin needs constant TLC so carry a small moisturizer with you at all times. Our rosehip seed oil is the perfect skin solution for all ages and types. What I do is pour part of the bottle into a smaller bottle so it can easily fit into any size purse or pocket, don’t leave home without it, really. Our stock is very limited this year because of last year’s bad harvest and we are all eagerly awaiting a high quality harvest. This is a great article about how Rosehip Seed Oil is the new Coconut Oil – sort of hilarious to us as we’ve been promoting it for over 15 years!
♥ Moisturize your body and face morning and night, and in-between. We tend to only think about moisturizing after a shower but our skin craves moisture all the time so be kind to yourself and give your skin moisturizing touch-ups throughout the day. If you have dry skin definitely be mindful of this and apply 2-3 times a day for sure!
♥ Don’t forget your hands and feet! A great time to do this is right before bed. I always keep a bottle of our Rosehip Seed Oil next to my bed. And I take advantage of this time to give myself a mini foot massage and open my gaits. Also right before you put your socks on in the morning is a great time to put moisturizer on you feet – again massage your feet especially on the part of your foot that is between the big and 2nd toe, down to the bottom of the top pad – before it dips into the soft underbelly of your food. Massage there with a wave motion – this will energize your K1 (Kidney Meridian), which will jump-start your energy for the day.

stay healthy
♥ Sit in the sun for 10-15 minutes everyday.
♥ Do the thymus thump daily to keep your immune system strong. For this and other great ways to stay healthy check out immune boosters.
♥ Keep your body moving for at least 30-40 minutes a day – doesn’t matter how, just keep it moving.
♥ Do your 5-minute Eden Energy Medicine routine – especially the zip-up, Celtic weave and connecting heaven and earth.

be in harmony with what you eat
Eat seasonally, our bodies want that. Tony has a famous vegetable bake – it is amazing! He does it all year round and the ingredients change with the seasons. He just buys (or gets it from his garden in the summer) a bunch of different veggies, cuts them up, throws them in a glass cooking pan, adds olive oil, salt, pepper and that’s it – this is a highly requested dish amongst his friends!
♥ Winter vegetables – this is a general list, some of these are ready beginning of winter others later: Asparagus, Beets, Bok Choy, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, Collards, Endive, Green onions, Kale, Kohlrabi, Garlic, Leeks, Winter Lettuce, Onions, Parsnips, Sugersnap Peas and peashoots, Radishes, Rutabaga, Spinach, Swiss Chard and Turnips.
♥ Practice conscious cooking and be a respectful eater. The act of cooking is important unto itself. You must bring your awareness to what you are doing because you are transferring your energy into the food; make sure it’s good energy.

♥ Beat the heat – Beyond sleeping with your humidifier on they have great small ones now you can put on your desk at work – both places need it! This is a great time of year to steam in every form possible! If you are not near hot springs or have a steam room or shower we will take care of you. Our flowering facial steam is euphorically cleansing and moisturizing! The experience itself is blissful but steaming your face will really help with the harsh elements our skin must endure cold winds and drying heat.
♥ Get natural – My most naturalist friend, skincare wise, is Ashley Hudson and she turned me onto cleaning with honey! Use raw honey and rub in circular motions. Add a bit of baking soda – maybe a bit of water if it’s too textured but beyond cleansing this is a great nature exfoliant.
♥ Mindful shaving
Male or female we all have run into shaving challenges. My friend Ashley Hudson says, “If I can’t eat it, it doesn’t go on my skin”. We were discussing shaving and she told me she uses raw coconut oil as a shaving oil / cream and then uses our Coconut Bliss to moisturize her skin afterward and she has no bumps or ingrown hairs so give it a try everyone!
I was getting some bumps after shaving my legs as it got cold because I would get goose bumps in the shower which lead to a harder shave and I have been using out Rewilding Aftershave – so it’s not just for men anymore!
♥ Pamper Yourself This time of year it’s especially important to nurturer and nourish our body and soul. Do as many self-soothing behaviors as you can and this will activate and energize your pathways of joy in your body called Radiant Circuit’s.

Be in harmony with the elements
Check out the 5-Elements and specifically how to balance them. Every season has specific elemental emotions that are heightened during that time of the year. We are in winter, which is the metal element. Winter is a time of reflection – it is not uncommon for grief to come up, but it comes up to go out, this is the time to let it go. When this element is balanced you feel the awe and wonder in life. This is also a great time to plant the seeds you want to sow in the spring. It’s a time to dream beautiful dreams and visualize who you want to be and align your energies and actions to be in vibration with that.

be in harmony with yourself
We are always evolving so during this time of reflection get to know you again. Think about who your true self is, your higher self, and ask is your life in vibration with what you want and who you want to be. It’s also a good time to look and see if the vision you have of yourself is the reality. Now is the perfect time to figure it out and metaphorically plant the seeds of manifestation for what you want. Also be open to shedding what isn’t working in your life – honor it and then let it go.

It’s time to find your truth, find your gold and to connect with what feeds your soul. To laugh more, love more and allow life to unfold into an unknown but trusted path. This is also the perfect time of year to make sure your Radiant Circuits – your pathways of joy – are activated. This can really help if you have the seasonal blues.

Food Moods
♥Nature is amazing – it’s in the winter we can feel “blue” more often and that is the time of year the dark green leafy vegetables are in season – and these food help our mood – I LOVE that. I will be adding more detailed information about this post but for now…..
♥ Always test before you ingest! Like energy our bodies’ chemistry is always changing meaning so our nutritional needs. Learning to test what your body wants in the present moment is empowering, everyday can be different. Eden Energy Medicine has a great protocol and I would check out how to use a pendulum too because I know so many people who successfully use that to decide if a food is right for them at that moment.
♥ Always eat seasonally

on the menu
♥ Dark leafy greens.
♥ Lots of protein and fermented foods.
♥ Fruits like Cherry’s and oranges, and it’s jam season! So put some jam on any kind of complex carb and you feed your body happy and relaxing food. The best for you is any type of grain that is “sprouted” and you usually find that in the freezer section of your local health food store.
♥ Take your daily vitamin and if it ok with your body, you can energy test, take Vitamin B, C and Omgea-3’s and blue/green algae is amazing!
♥ Herbs of St. Johns Wort, ginseng and ginkgo biloba.

off the menu
♥ Anything “diet” – your body just doesn’t know what to do with it so it doesn’t process in a healthy way. Especially stay away from aspartame because not only is straight out harmful but it is also believed to block the production of serotonin – the feel good chemical!
♥ Anything white and processed – it just turns to sugar once it’s in your body!
NoGMO!!!!
♥ If you eat meat do it ethically. If you eat fish stay away from “farmed” fish. Know your source.
